I SHOULD HAVE KNOWN BETTER, BUT ALL OF THE REVIEWS I SAW UP TO THE POINT OF PURCHASE SHOWED BUYERS HAPPY WITH THIS WATCH WINDER. IT WORKED FINE FOR AROUND 3 1/2 MONTHS, THEN STARTED MAKING A RATTLING NOISE WHEN IT WAS RUNNING. IT DID GO ON AND OFF PERIODICALLY AS ADVERTISED, BUT CONSIDERING WHAT I PAID FOR IT, I FEEL AS THOUGH IT SHOULD HAVE AT LEAST WORKED QUIETLY.

This is a good value. It took my 52mm watch with no problem. Winds clockwise and counter clockwise with the touch of a switch. The motor is quiet and the 1 hour on and 3 hour rest feature keeps the watch perfectly wound. No more resetting my automatic watches! I highly recommend this product. The company I purchased this from shipped it out immediately and I received it within a week of ordering it, which isn't common for items shipped to Hawaii.

I've had this for three weeks, and I do not have any issues with it. Works perfect, no noises, and does what it says. I am not experiencing any of the issues brought up in some of the negative reviews. I wonder if they are over using it, causing extra wear. Automatic watches can last up to 36 hrs fully wound, so you do not need to use the rotator daily. Also, I have to concur with some of the reviews stating better directions would be nice. The middle plastic piece is supposed to be pulled out to place the watch on it.

I bought this winder for an automatic sport watch with a metal band, but the watch couldn't be fitted in this winder. It would work fine for a small watch, or perhaps a ladies' watch, but not a larger man's watch.
