Unique watch for sure. It's not for everyone. I bought mine from Amazon and had no problem with extended 5 yr warranty. I received my warranty card from Invicta about 2 weeks after I mailed the registration. From what I've heard, you need to watch out for knock-offs of this watch, but if you buy from a reputable dealer I'm sure you're fine. I would have liked to see visible serial numbers on the case, but you recieve one on the registration card. I'm not the kind of person who drops 600.00 on a watch lightly, so I did my homework. The face is VERY basic, but the movement detail seen through the back is great. If you like chrono functions you may want to stick with the cheaper and more featured Quartz versions.

While attending Friday Night Jazz at the Trump Towers in Sunny Isles Beach/Aventura, FL, I was approached by a senior corporate executive for a major defense contractor. He observed the timepiece on my wrist and was curious as to exactly what it was. (He was wearing an Audemars Piguet Royal Oak). When I told him I am wearing an Invicta Original 1959 Russian Dive Watch, he was taken back due to never seeing such a bold timepiece on a wrist before. When I took the watch off for him to hold, he figured that this watch must have cost me between $5500.00-$6000.00 due to the solid construction and the skeletonized back.

Needless to say, this gentlemen advised me that he was going to purchase one to add to his fine collection of wrist watches. This timepiece is a beauty and when it is on my wrist it commands much attention. I highly recommend this timepiece to watch collectors of all levels.

A very nice, big watch. You do not have to pull it up to your eyes to tell what time it is. The five year extended warranty was included because I purchased it from Amazon...Wow! Thanks Amazon, less worry about it being a knockoff.

Wind it daily and it will provide excellent time. Strange how you realize everyone is running on slightly different time. The back is art.

Tengo un 2625 hace tres aos, una vez que te habitas al peso de la maquina no lo sientes, es un reloj muy llamativo, y siempre te preguntan por sus caractersticas e historia.
Al mirar la maquina esqueletonizada por la parte de atrs quedas sorprendido al igual que quien te pregunta por l, el trabajo artstico grabado sobre las platinas y el puente, el tamao de los rubs y el color de los tornillos es mesmerizante. Es muy preciso y por ser de cuerda manual es muy "vivo", para los entusiastas de los relojes esta es una pieza indispensable entre los relojes de cuerda manual, no se debe olvidar conocer la historia del diseo militar original de la INVICTA en los aos 50 que esta disponible en la web.

The invicta #2625 is an awesome timepiece! Yes, is size alone is impressive, but its bright luminesce face and the detail when you look at the rear of the watch is just worth every penny!! A great gift for any watch fan.
